Figuration Plants

What are life’s phenomenons and the laws that govern living beings? In addition to human biological design, are there other primitive forms that can change the environment in which we live? And if there are, to what extent will they evolve? For three hundred and sixty million years, the concentration of life emerged has been enclosed in the seed.

Many works contemplated for this project are influenced by Jacques Monod’s theory about the distinction between matter without a soul with that of the living, specifically dwelling on the concept and on the ability of some minerals which, by their own law, can modify and influence their surrounding environment. An insistent regard for the fantastic, the imaginary, memory, the traces of time, nature and history.
